Can you help with access to the venue?
If anyone in your party has any specific access requirements such as mobility issues or vertigo, please contact us and staff will be able to offer you advice to help you choose the seats which best suit your requirements. For more information, please visit our Accessibility page.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Wheelchair access to the venue is available either via the entrance on Bolero Square or via the lift from Lower Parliament Street. Once inside the venue, there are lifts, disabled toilet facilities and wide walkways for wheelchair users.
Lifts operate to all floors within the venue and are wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair. Lift dimensions and key door sizes are as follows:
Do you have Accessible Seating for events?
Accessible seating is available within the Arena bowl and Hospitality Suites. Even numbered blocks have easily accessed viewing platforms where wheelchair users, companions and customers with mobility issues can enjoy excellent views of the stage.
These seats are situated in open areas and on the same level as the concourse, so there are no steps to navigate. All accessible seating is located near exits and toilets.
Alternative seating is available in other areas of the venue for those who are able to use steps. Please note that there are handrails in some areas of the venue but these are intermittent and aren't on every set of steps.
Is parking available for people with disabilities?
A public disabled car park is located next to the Arena on Dean Street. It is operated by Nottingham City Council on a first come first served basis and can’t be booked in advance. There are also a few disabled parking spaces on Barker Gate opposite the venue. Further information about parking can be found here.
Can I bring an Assistance Dog to the venue?
Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue, but please be aware that noise levels can be high during some events. At the time of booking please let our Box Office team know if an assistance dog will be accompanying you to the venue so we can ensure that you are in suitable seating.
Do you have a changing places facility?
Yes. Please ask a steward for the location of the changing places room if you wish to use it at the event. We have a radar key on site for customers if required. For more information visit our Accessibility page.
Do you operate a Hearing Assistance System?
Yes. A hearing assistance system is installed within the main Arena bowl for customers with a hearing impairment, please note that this is only available in certain seating locations. The hearing assistance system is accessed via an infra-red headset available from the Box Office during events. Please note customers will be asked to sign out a headset which is to be returned at the end of the show to a member of staff.
We also offer a hearing loop in selected seating locations that can be connected to a hearing aid.
If you require the hearing assistance system or hearing loop please contact the box office prior to making your booking so we can ensure the service is available from your seats. If you have already made your booking, please note that we may need to move you to an alternative seating location, subject to availability, to ensure you can access this service.
Do you offer a Performance Interpreting Service?
We are pleased to be working with Performance Interpreting to provide a BSL service. Please visit our Accessibility page for further information. Look out for the following message on event pages that indicates there are interpreter services available at that event or show:
There will be a BSL interpreter at this event. You can book tickets by contacting the Box Office. Please note, if you require the interpreter service, please request this when booking tickets and allow at least 4 weeks’ notice prior to the event.
